same things happen to me: I read one blog, which leads me to another, and another, or search on Google, which takes me to one site and another, and so on, and I don't even notice how I just spent 2 hours reading... So I'm starting to cut down on that, and also don't read my RSS every day (which takes another couple of hours).

What I find helpful is starting Drafts on my blog, writing several different posts, putting links there, saving for later, adding more content once I think of something, etc... and later I get back to one of them and finish the post.
